Man, this thing truly took a village. The idea for the Miami Minute originated from an intern, Lily Marks, who took inspiration from a show she'd seen on Snapchat. The Minute would be our version of a TV show and from the beginning we decided to debut the show on IGTV, which is the first of it's kind in college athletics, discussing what's going on on campus and in athletics. After the episodes debuted on IGTV, they were then resizes and changed to fit Facebook and Twitter.
In total, 10 people worked on 13 episodes over an entire semester to ensure we were producing weekly episodes. We saw so much success from the Miami Minute, that is has no become a sponsored bi-weekly segment in fall 2019.
